SitePilot sold-deal sync

Connect SitePilot so SolarKnock marks leads Won or Canceled when their address matches a SitePilot project, and shows sold houses on the map.

If your company tracks installs in SitePilot, SolarKnock can check your SitePilot projects against your leads and mark the ones that sold. Your reps then see at a glance which houses on the map are already customers.

What it does

On each sync, SolarKnock reads your project list from SitePilot and compares each project's address with your leads' addresses.

  • A project matches a lead: the lead is marked Won, and a gold circle with a check mark appears on that house on the Map.
  • The project is canceled in SitePilot: the lead is marked Canceled and the house shows a gray circle with a cross.
  • A project has no lead in SolarKnock (a customer from before you used the app): the house still gets a gold or gray marker, so reps can see it's already a customer. These houses aren't added to your Leads list.

Zoom in on the map to see the markers. Tap one to open the house; its status shows as Won or Canceled.

SolarKnock only reads from SitePilot. It never changes anything in your SitePilot account.

Connect SitePilot

Who can do this: admins.

  1. Get your SitePilot API endpoint and API key from your SitePilot account.
  2. In SolarKnock, open the Profile tab. Under Integrations, tap SitePilot sold sync.
  3. On the Settings tab, turn on Enabled.
  4. Enter the API endpoint and API key. What this does is an optional note for your own records.
  5. Under Frequency, choose Weekly or Monthly.
  6. Tap Save. SolarKnock checks that it can connect; if it can't, check the endpoint and key and try again.
  7. Tap Run now to sync straight away instead of waiting for the next scheduled run.

After you save, the key shows as set ···· followed by its last four characters. To replace it, type the new key and tap Save.

Sync history

The Sync Runs tab lists every run: when it ran, whether it succeeded, how many projects and leads were checked, and how many matched.

Review close matches

Sometimes the two addresses are close but SolarKnock can't be certain they're the same house. It still marks the lead Won, and lists it on the Review tab as Loose match — confirm or undo, showing the lead's address beside the SitePilot address.

  • Tap Confirm sold if they're the same house.
  • Tap Undo if they aren't. The lead goes back to its previous status, the sold marker is removed, and that project won't be matched to that lead again.

Tip: Check the Review tab after each sync. The number on the tab shows how many matches are waiting for you.
