Commission
See your commission on the My Leads view, read each deal's split, and record commission rates and notes.
SolarKnock keeps a record of commission; it doesn't calculate it. Every figure is entered by your organization, and nothing is checked against anything else: percentages don't have to add up to 100.
Note: Your organization can choose not to show commission to reps. If it has, you won't see the money figures described here.
Your totals
On the Leads tab, tap My Leads. It lists every lead where you are or were the setter or closer. The tiles at the top show:
| Tile | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Leads YTD, Last 30 days, Last 7 days | Your leads, by the date they were created |
| Potential YTD | Your projected share, on leads created this year |
| Closed | Your projected share on won deals, paid or not |
| Paid YTD | What's been paid to you, on leads created this year |
Each lead shows its most recent milestone and the deal's total projected commission. Tap the milestone to see all seven, or the amount to see who gets what.
Who gets what on a deal
The Commission breakdown lists Projected and Paid shares, one row per person, with the total for each. Your own row is marked (you). Reps see the percentage and amount on their own row only; other people's show as •••. Managers and admins see every figure.
Commission on a lead
Tap a lead in My Leads to open it, then the Lifecycle tab. Below the milestones, the Commission card shows:
- Estimate and Actual: the commission on the deal.
- Paid: the date from the Commission paid milestone.
- Your notes · visible to the office: a note from the setter or closer, such as how they agreed to split it.
- Office notes: the office's own note.
Tap Save after a change.
Who can see it: the lead's setter and closer, managers and admins.
Who can change it: admins change everything. The lead's setter and closer can write Your notes. Managers can only read.
Commission rates
Each person's rates are recorded at the bottom of the member screen (the people icon on the Team tab), under Commission. Tap a name to open it:
- As setter: Deal %, Per qualified appt and Per closed deal.
- As closer: Deal % and Per deal incentive.
Someone who both sets and closes keeps both sets of rates. The rates are for reference: SolarKnock doesn't work anything out from them.
To change a rate, an admin edits it and taps Save, which turns into Save and Go Live. Tap it again to confirm.
Who can do this: admins. Managers can see the rates but not change them. See Organization settings.
